SPECTRUM Miami was the new kid on the block: a fledgling art show trying to soar alongside giants like Art Basel at the iconic Art Week Miami. In its first year, the show had no voice, no marketing materials, and no exhibitors. They needed to get airborne, fast.
The Solution:
Big Wave was part of a marketing team that helped build the SPECTRUM Miami brand from scratch. We developed the voice of this bold, new art show—exciting, eclectic, radical—and developed information architecture for SPECTRUM’s responsive, mobile-friendly site. We launched thriving social media profiles and used them to generate buzz. We orchestrated social shopping promotions via Groupon and Living Social; edited press releases; wrote print and online marketing collateral; created magazine editorial; and helped promote partnerships with Cirque du Soleil and Jordan Matter, Dancers Among Us photographer. SPECTRUM skyrocketed to success, and continues to grow each year.
